It is Saturday morning and I find myself on the couch watching 'Bunny Town' (yes, a show with a bunch of singing, fuzzy bunny puppets getting into all sorts of trouble) with my kids. Jill is working at Immanuel this
morning. Andrew has a soccer game this afternoon, although has a pretty bad cough. We are responsible for bringing treats today...so clearly we CANNOT miss the game! We recently got Alvin & the Chipmunks from Netflix...so hopefully I can pull the kids away from it this afternoon!School is going just fine...currently covering the Civil War in American History and Mesoamerica (Aztecs, Maya, and Inca) in World History. We only have about 5 weeks left in school for the year...bring on summer.
It seems as though we have sold this house...waiting for the inspection on Tuesday - but regardless we should be a go. We have looked at about 6 houses so far and found 1 that we are still interested in...several more we still want to walk through. I equate second and third time home buying to 40-year-olds dating...it doesn't take too long to realize if it is a good fit or if it doesn't work for you.
Another note of interest at this point in time is that I have sent in an application to Nebraska Wesleyan University and the Master of Arts in Historical Studies program. I guess it is time for me to start moving forward in my professional life. I will take two classes this summer - should be interesting. I am taking the classes with a colleague of mine which will make it much more interesting.
Alright, off to attend to my kids for the weekend.
Until next time...
